But that has never stopped me in the past:D<br />First - Happy Birthday to You and what an awesome way to start your weekend! Now, unlike alcohol, coffee, or tobacco...cake is not forbidden by any religion I am aware of. It is just a personal discipline, or a dietary choice. In my family circle here in Montana we celebrate 2 to 6 birthdays every month. That's a lot of cake. Some family members come to the celebrations but do not partake of the cake and ice-cream. It's a life style choice and dietary choice. No one here is offended because X or Y chose not to eat cake. But maybe your culture places more emphasis on these customs. Could that be a source of your anxiety? I had my own birthday last month. I had 2 big pieces of cake. That was my "off" meal. I still managed to lose 6 lbs that month. I'm not bragging about weight loss so here's my point. You are never going to be this old on this day ever again in this lifetime. Make the choice that brings you the greatest joy because in the end, what you think about you is what matters most of all. Happy Birthday:)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17690442668699466427noreply@blogger.com
